An evangelical Christian checked out all the LGBT+ children’s books from a Iowa public library and filmed himself burning them on the same day as the 2nd annual Orange County Pride parade on Friday, October 19. @TraceyBaptiste contacted the director of the library says they are happy to accept donated books. Their address is: Orange City Library, 112 Albany Ave SE, Orange City, IA 51041. There’s a list of the books he burned that would be great to replace below.
You may have heard that the Drama Book Shop in NYC will close – no more! After the success of Lin-Manuel Miranda, Quiara Alegría Hudes, and Kristoffer Diaz’s efforts earlier this week, more playwrights will sign copies of their plays to help the store.
